As a Sales Manager, you will drive the sales performance of motion products, in Colombia/Ecuador, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy. You will lead and coach the local sales organization to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.
**This position reports to**:
Region Division Head
**Your responsibilities**:
- Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them.
- Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales.
- Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale.
- Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks.
- Building a robust sales organization through best practices, training and cross-collaboration.
- Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
- Identifies and evaluates opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources.
**Your background**:
- 5 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, working as sales manager with drives and motors in the motion market.
- Knowledge of CRM Salesforce.
- Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling.
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
- Experience working in teamwork to achieve sales results.
- Knowledge of the Ecuadorian market.
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude.
- A bachelor´s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related careers.
- Advanced English level is required.
- Available to travel.
