- We are looking for a Project Manager, Green Hydrogen Project, who are ready to make an impact in our world
- Main responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and development process assessing resource availability and creating project timelines and budgets.-
- Manage contract obligations in key project documents.-
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, suppliers, and local communities, to ensure smooth project execution and address any challenges or concerns.-
- Support the AES functional teams to obtain necessary permits, licenses, and approvals from relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.-
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, such as equipment, materials, and personnel, to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to timelines.-
- Handoff projects once fully developed and permitted to the construction management team.-
- Participate in project financings answering relevant diligence questions and providing required documents.-
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project safety, security, and financial viability.-
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations.-
- Develop project schedules and oversee project budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to ensure the project remains within financial targets.-
- Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).-
- Strong knowledge of green hydrogen technologies, renewable energy systems, and project management principles.-
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in managing complex projects, preferably in the renewable energy or hydrogen sector, including interconnection, permitting and contracting.-
- Advanced English-
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project-related issues.-
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.-
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, permits, and compliance requirements.-
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.-
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.-
- Strong intellectual curiosity and capacity to learn quickly about a new, high growth sector.-
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required including public speaking and/or platform skills for executive management presentations.-
- Self-starter, very self-reliant and capable of operating with minimum supervision.-
