**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining and managing the ticketing system
- Diagnosing and resolving problems to the customer's satisfaction
- Assisting with customer software rollouts remotely
- Completing QA testing on any new/updated software
- Identify ways to assist in the development of internal processes and procedures to improve upon the efficient running of the Customer Support Team and the overall customer experience

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- At least 1 year experience in an IT/Technical Service Desk/Technical Support Role
- Experience of working in client-facing environments
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- A passion for customer service and an interest in software development/management
- Good communication skills and the confidence to pick up the phone and liaise with people who may be working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- A good understanding of computer hardware and networking
- Initiative and confidence to take ownership of a problem and manage it through to resolution
- A high technical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- An ability to remain flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity
- A passion for making things work better and more efficiently
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience gathering and documenting business rules and requirements
- Ability to edit JSON files in a plain text editor
- Comfort working on a POSIX command line like Mac Terminal

**Additional Skills/Abilities (Nice to Haves)**:

- An understanding of Freshdesk ticketing system
- Knowledge of software implementation process and workflow
- Relevant experience across retail and e-commerce
