Brand Manager is responsible of the definition, development and implementation of the Marketing strategy and plan in order to achieve local market goals and positioning of the brand, in compliance with local Marketing guidelines and policies.

Essential job functions

Understanding market / Consumer indicators

Execute market analysis in order to identify opportunities and threats for the Company, considering the following activities:
Analyze reports given by Business Intelligence, and define action plans
Identify market segments
Analyze specific trends related to Edgwell brands
Evaluate competitors

Quantify, prioritize and validate market opportunities
Develop plans in order to improve performance in the channel / segment
Execute field visits to guarantee the compliance of brand guidelines in Points of Sale

Brand Strategy

Implement Brand strategy, aligned with consumer and channel needs
Provide feedback about local market to complement global or regional Brand strategy
Provide brand guidelines to the channel and client
Develop marketing plans in local markets, guaranteeing strategic alignment and compliance of regional Marketing guidelines
Implement or adjust Marketing communication strategy
Implement or adjust Marketing messages for the target audience
Guarantee implementation of portfolio pricing strategy
Define local BTL strategy
Develop consumer communication calendar
Define PR strategy
Guarantee Brand guidelines fulfillment in each communication to the consumer
Define POP, Displays, graphs, merchandiser’s uniforms, publications, among others.
Manage, provide and validate images brand copies
Identify and Develop consumer partner/alliance relationships
Develop endomarketing strategies

Portfolio Strategy

Define and monitor portfolio by market, channel and client
Guarantee sanitary registration for commercialization in regulated products
Define Go-to-market strategy for local market (portfolio, price, promotion, placement)
Manage all processes related to NPD launch
Provide recommendations about NPD and the local strategy

Pricing Strategy

**Develop and manage pricing executing the following activities**:
Define promotional and regular pricing guidelines
Evaluate pricing performance vs current strategy
Pricing adjustment according the pricing performance evaluation
Communicate pricing changes to local and regional marketing managers
Develop general pricing list by channel

Promotional strategy to consumer and channel

Execute and follow up of campaigns and promotion platforms
Support channel development and promotional calendar activities for channel or client, and evaluate plan alignment with Marketing strategy
Execute Marketing activities post-evaluation, and incorporate lessons learned to future activities
Design, plan and supply Onpacks / Consumer Packs
Establish portfolios, PDQS / RTE branding, according to brand strategy
Guarantee fulfillment of promotional mix defined in the ABP
Design, plan and supply local promotional activities

Definition, manage and report of the marketing budget

Build an A&P Budget aligned with ABP strategies
Budged monitoring to assure budget plan and policies compliance
Consolidate total local A&P for final reports

Develop and support of Selling Story

**Final Consumer Marketing campaigns**:
Implement campaign
Generate Selling Story
Provide graphic and communication material
Alignment with 360 plan

**Other areas**:
Provide baselines related to consumers and market to the commercial team, in order to develop the corresponding Selling Stories

Support Company’s Strategic Planning Process

Strategic plan for 3 years
ABP (annual business plan)
Participate in the Joint Business Plan and execute consumer initiatives related to client proposal
