GenePlanet, EU based biotech company, a global leader in the field of preventive genetic tests; specializing in NIPT, cancer screening, and lifestyle DNA tests, is looking for an ambitious Market entry consultant or Country Manager to develop (and lead) our local operations in the market. With a presence in 35+ markets worldwide and a passionate team of over 150 employees, GenePlanet collaborates with over 2.000 medical centers, doctors, and insurance companies to provide top-quality tests based on the latest scientific discoveries. Our tests are designed to empower individuals to take control of their and their baby's health, as well as assist doctors with therapeutic procedures.

Tasks

We're seeking a hands-on, self-driven, energetic, and results-oriented professional to join our team, staring on a project-based cooperation that can lead to a regular position of Country Manager, responsible for developing and leading our local NIPT operations.

Your journey with GenePlanet begins with market entry project where your hands-on skills will be tested. You will get a blueprint of GenePlanet NIPT market entry where the most KPIs will be:

- Brief market landscape overview
- Setup of the sales infrastructure and adjust SOP (Standard Operation Procedure protocol) to local market requirements (from import permits, sample collection points, payment types and options, coordinate localization of marketing materials with HQ, etc.)
- Prepare (and execute) recruitment strategy country wide.
- Identify key factors for increasing product and brand awareness for the NIPT business.

As a potential Country Manager (you can either opt to continue the career inside GenePlanet or not), you will play a critical role in driving the success of GenePlanet's local business for medical genetic testing. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the HQ team to set up and develop GenePlanet's local business, while implementing a longer-term growth strategy.
- Executing Annual Plans that meet revenue and profitability targets while staying within agreed budgets and managing the local team of medical sales representatives to achieve these goals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local business partners, including clinics, medical laboratories, and gynecologists, to grow the local network and promote GenePlanet's products and services.
- Identifying and developing Key Opinion Leaders to further support our mission and promote GenePlanet's products and services in Colombia.
- Conducting trainings and educational activities to ensure that both the internal local sales team and external partners have a strong understanding of GenePlanet's products and services, especially those in the field of gynecology, obstetrician, IVF, and oncology.
- Continuously monitoring the competitive landscape and proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.

**Requirements**:

- A medical background and working experience in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics, knowing filed of laboratory sales is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the local healthcare industry, particularly in the private healthcare sector.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to act independently when engaging with key market stakeholders.
- Excellent selling, networking, and negotiation skills to help build strong business relationships with local partners.
- Proficiency in English is a must, and any additional language skills would be a plus.

**Having the following qualifications would be an advantage**:

- A higher education degree in biotechnology, biology, medicine, biochemistry, or microbiology.
- Experience in setting up new businesses and launching new products.
- Knowledge of the local NIPT market and competitive products, which would help to inform our long-term growth strategy.
- A personal network of local gynecologists or laboratories, which would enable you to build relationships with key stakeholders in the market and further promote GenePlanet's products and services.
