Technical Sales Support Representative

**Resumen de Posición**:
Engineer in charge of generating offers for quote requests for public and private tenders, received directly from clients or through our sellers. Organize and define priorities in the selection and preparation of proposals, selecting the team that best meets the technical and commercial requirements. In addition to the previous functions, you must follow up on proposals and help accompany visits with sellers, to support and guarantee the success of the sales processes.
**Responsabilidades Esenciales**:
Provide technical support to our customers and sellers effectively. Have technical skills and ability to select pumping equipment and its accessories and devices, according to the required technical specifications, which can be requested in writing or verbally. Prepare offers for public and private tenders complying with the technical, commercial and legal aspects required by clients, taking into account compliance with the closing dates of offers. Request from our suppliers of drives, motors, turbines, motors, mechanical seals, couplings, instrumentation and accessories, competitive offers that meet the requested technical scope, as well as deviations from the client's request. Track and follow up on offers sent to our distributor or end-user client to know the status of each proposal and obtain comments that help us successfully conclude the proposals in the purchase orders. Visit clients with or without those responsible for the commercial department to support and defend our proposals, responding to technical and commercial concerns that clients may have and also permanently seeking opportunities that contribute to the development of the business. Require factory technical support and/or commercial delivery times and competitive multipliers, depending on the industry and client to whom we are going to present each proposal. Actively participate in conferences, talks and training held by the factory or requested by customers. Actively participate in weekly sales meetings, providing specific information on active proposals and presenting all information related to the requirements of the proposals, especially all matters that require attention from the company's management. Maintain updated EQL information and databases, which are related to all information for company proposals (tenders). Prepare purchase order files, obtaining clean orders, enter production orders, ensuring that the client's request for purchasing material corresponds to our proposal. Know and understand the IP-500 Commercial Guidelines. Comply with official regulations and company requirements for the HSE program. Perform those other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, not covered in this job description.
**Requisitos del Puesto**:
- Engineer with a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or related careers. Minimum experience in similar positions of five (5) to seven (7) years. Knowledge related to rotating equipment, especially centrifugal pumps, assembly and packaging process and related components. Basic knowledge of competing products. Advanced English, written and spoken. Negotiation experience.
