Posición de nível intermedio que requiere conocimientos y habilidades adquiridos a través de entrenamiento formal y/o experiência comprobada de trabajo. Debe estar en capacidad de ejecutar procedimientos establecidos de servicio técnico con moderada o ninguna supervisión.

Aplica conocimientos y/o métodos científicos a la resolución de problemas técnicos, con atención a los detalles seleccionando los procedimientos apropiados para diferentes tipos de problemas tanto comunes como de rara ocurrencia.

En este nível, el técnico debe ser capaz de representar profesionalmente a NCR, resolver problemas de mediana o alta complejidad, organizar y planear de manera efectiva su tiempo, comunicar y explicar claramente una situación y saber cuándo y a quien escalar un problema mayor.

Tareas laborales diarias:

- Instalación, configuración y puesta en marcha de equipos
- Diagnósticos básicos y avanzados de los equipos
- Reparación, ajuste y cambio de partes y/o módulos basado en información objetiva
- Aislamiento de los problemas del equipo/sistema de los problemas del entorno (comunicaciones, electricidad, medio ambiente, etc)
- Explicar con claridad los alcances de las actividades de servicio a los clientes
- Reportar oportuna y detalladamente los problemas encontrados y las acciones tomadas
- Responsabilizarse por la solución de los problemas cumpliendo con los acuerdos de níveles de servicio comprometidos con los clientes.

Requisitos Básicos:

- Técnico o Tecnólogo con estudios comprobados de al menos dos años en mantenimiento de computadores, electricidad/electrónica y/o sistemas.
- Dominio de tecnología de PC y de sistema operativo Windows. Al menos un año de experiência previa en mantenimiento de equipos electrónicos y sistemas operativos.
- Conocimiento del idioma inglés que le permita entender textos, manuales, boletines y cualquier información técnica en ese idioma (preferiblemente).
- Disponibilidad para moverse permanentemente dentro y fuera de la ciudad, trabajar algunos fines de semana y ocasionalmente en horarios extendidos.
