**Job Type**: Full-Time, On-Site

IT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-level IT Specialist to join our team. You will be the head of this department and will be able to build your own team. As a crucial member of our IT department, you will be responsible of ensuring that our network, system, and related infrastructure are always up, running propperly and secure. This role is essential to the functioning of our operation, any downtime can directly impact our ability to serve our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all systems are operational and efficiently supporting the business needs.
- Manage and maintain the call center’s network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and other related hardware.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team is equipped to handle all technical challenges.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and efficiency of the company’s IT systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively prevent potential problems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing and managing appropriate backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain IT equipment and services.
- Stay up to date with the latests technologies trends and advancements to improve the company’s IT infrastructure continually.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the IT department budget, ensuring all expenditures are within the allocated resources.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and related technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, data backup and recovery, and system performance monitoring.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge in ITILV4 and SCRUM is a plus.
