**A Day in the Life
**The Diabetes Product Manager manage the MDIS (Multiple Daily Injection System) product lines (launches, promotion, forecasting, inventory management, etc.). Conduct marketing planning, analysis, research, as well as promotion and market development for product lines (MDIS: Standalone CGM, Smart Insulin Pen, Intelligent Port).

Develop marketing plans for assigned product lines to set the strategic direction in terms of positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies, and tactics. Also lead the implementation of those plans in local markets.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Leads the Marketing functions between LA regions (in-country staff & distributors) and the SBU.
- Participates in NPI plans to meet strategic and financial objectives.
- Monitor sales, market share & profitability.
- Works closely with the SBU Product Managers to optimize our Diabetes Product therapy offerings and market share.
- Develops & execute the marketing plan in conjunction with the SBU marketing team & the clinical group.
- Designs and implement patient awareness campaigns, partnering with local patient associations and using social media/web.
- Contributes to the training/education programs modules.
- Develops a privileged relationship with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) involved in the Product’s therapies.
- Coordinates plans/activities with key support staff, e.g., marketing services, training and education, marketing communications.
- Identifies and represents market/product opportunities to business unit marketing/product development teams working closely with them throughout the development process to ensure product meets customer needs.
- Identifies, investigates, and recommend SBU business direction in accordance with strategic plan, and with the consideration of geography input.
- Consistently and effectively communicates appropriate product, market, clinical, competitive information to sales organization in order to maximize sales results.
- In conjunction with business unit marketing, develops and executes effective product launches, as well as assisting in the development and execution of local initiatives were required.
- Meets with customers regularly to assess future market needs, as well as to maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Should also identify and recruit appropriate new KOL's to support product strategies.
- Analyze the market for major barriers to therapy expansion and create, implement, and execute plans which will overcome those barriers.
- Document market size, opportunity, and current penetration level.
- Design market development and marketing plans aimed at generating short and long-term growth
- Perform additional duties in line with company business requirements.
- Travel requirements: 50 %

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements
**- 7+ years of related experience
- Prior Marketing and sales experience
- Medical Device Industry experience, preferable in Diabetes therapies
- Experience in launching new therapies and developing new markets
- Fully bilingual - English & Spanish
