**Job Description**:
The **Business Intelligence and Operations Support Specialist** - Medical Writingrole is responsible for designing and implementing innovative and efficient processes utilizing company tools to ensure smooth business operations and facilitate document organization, authoring, and workflow. This position supports the operational activities for vendor and relationship management.
This position provides exposure to the regulatory, clinical document content, clinical document compendium for submission, documentation analysis, and data analytics.
This position can include but is not limited to the following:
The Business Operations Support Specialist will:
- Manages agenda, presentations, and meeting schedules for vendor and partner relationship activities about Medical Writing (MW)
- Participates in developing presentations for town halls, executive reviews, year-end meetings, etc., utilizing information collected from Medical Writing dashboards and trackers.
- Build integration and communication within Medical Writing Therapeutic and Business Areas.
- Build on Medical Writing portfolio and process knowledge to envision opportunities for enhancement through automation.
- Liaises and collaborates with other functions such as Data Management, and IT to allow for the exchange of information and develop an understanding of upstream and downstream activities that may impact the medical writing tools and utilities.
- Provide support to MW Subject Matter Experts (SME) through tracking, metrics, database development, collection of information, and reporting.
- Recommend and participate in general process improvements for all areas associated with the processes and touchpoints of their activity. Manage process improvement projects and lead teams through project execution and finalization.
- Provide training and mentoring as required.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Complete fluency in reading and writing American English
- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
- Innovative and analytical Mindset. Strong critical thinking skills and data analytics skills
- Solve complex problems associated with MW scope of work, involving ambiguous situations across departments and the need to develop new options to resolve
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Office
- Project management skills.
- Awareness of pharmaceutical industry needs beyond clinical development
- Demonstrated ability to communicate opinions and new ideas
- Communication skills to coordinate seamlessly within MW and across other functions
- Manage own time, work assignments, and development
- Quality - produce high-quality and adhere to timelines
- Practice leading and empowerment
Degree in engineering, analytics, business administration, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in data analytics, innovation/process improvement strategies, and business support/ administrative tasks.

- Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively with teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
