**Role**: The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to Director, LATAM Architecture & Systems Integration and works closely with a diverse team consisting of a Project Manager, Developers, Functional Developers, and Business Analysts.

**Your Day with Equisoft**:

- Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverable
- Understand and identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications
- Develop, document, and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
- Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through
- appropriate channels
- Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers
- Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process

**Requirements**:
**Technical**
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information Technology
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Test management tools such as TESTRAIL
- Work management tools such as JIRA
- Experience with Quality Assurance processes
- Knowledge of financial and/or insurance industries is a strong asset
- Knowledge of relational databases and scripting automated tests (SQL, SoapUI,
- Selenium, Neoload C#, Java)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
