**A Day in the Life
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Contract administration for U.S Cardiovascular Contracting. This includes price requests, reporting, price loads, customer price files, price quotes, system maintenance, and new product launch paperwork.
- Process order quotations and purchases in a timely manner in accordance with Medtronic pricing and contracting policies.
- Execute new and ongoing price increase programs through support of contract creation, tracking of requests, and execution of completed contracts.
- Support sales and rebates teams in customer compliance/performance tracking and payment method (EFT) forms and coordination.
- Support process improvement and quality initiatives, including related paperwork, tracking, and reporting. Responsible for generating reports using templates and the consolidation of data from various sources.
- Work directly with U.S. based Contract Analysts and Field Sales Organization.
- Ability to manage projects, with direction, to help meet organizational objectives.
- Engage in special projects as assigned.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- High school degree.
- Fluent in English.
- 1 or 2 years’ work experience with data processing, data entry, customer service, logistics, accounts payable or related areas to back office.
- Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with key business partners to answer questions and resolve issues according to department protocols and requirements.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Solid business acumen. Exercises independent judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency with MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with data analysis concepts.
- Team player.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a changing team environment.

**Nice to Have**
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years’ work experience in pricing strategy/negotiation, contract administration, or financial analysis.
- Medical device industry experience.
- High proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, Vendavo, Business Objects, and SAP.
- Experience creating Excel documents, including spreadsheets, formulas, charts, graphs, and functions.
- Sound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data.
- Proven ability to produce consistent, detail-oriented, quality work.
- Experience working with technical information.
- Strong relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, conflict resolution, and independent working skills.
