Hello There We are Devlane, a nearshore software development company headquartered in Uruguay with presence across all of LATAM. We are devoted to finding the best tech talent in Latin America and extending our client’s internal development teams via a staff augmentation model in North America and Canada.

At Devlane we’re looking to add a Sales Development Representative (SDR) that will dedicate themselves to generating new outbound leads and collaborating with our Sales and Marketing department to help discover and identify leads. Warmed up leads will then be assigned to an account executive at Devlane who will take over the account and continue the sales cycle based on the information you’ve been able to attain.

You will be presenting the services of staff augmentation in the form of software, QA, and data engineers among others, whether these resources are on our bench or they are recruited externally with our recruiting team. Most of the work is to be done digitally via outreach and prospecting.

**Responsibilities for this role include**:
Identifying B2B companies and decision-makers that could be interested in our services, researching them and documenting them in our CRM for a targeted outreach.

Contacting people primarily in the US & Canada via different digital channels, mainly

Use the CRM to track progress with new prospects.

Interacting with leads, conducting an initial qualification via written form before handing them over as prospects to our account executive.

Social selling via different platforms, among them LinkedIn, in which the aim is not to immediately convert leads but rather to network and collect information.

Periodic meetings with our Marketing and Sales department in order to stay up-to-date with information that will help you present and sell Devlane to the B2B market.

Collaborating with our Content Marketing Manager to come up with material that you believe will help you in your lead generation efforts.

Use the data available in the CRM and other tools to improve the lead generation strategy.

**What kind of experience we're looking for**:
Devlane has been seeing tremendous continuing growth over the years, but has done so mainly by relying on inbound marketing, referrals, and word-of-mouth. We are now at a stage where we wish to employ a full-time SDR that can help us work out an outbound strategy in order to continue generating more opportunities in parallel. It’s because of this that we are looking for a SDR with the relevant experience to be able to execute the plan set forth by the company.

The required and desired qualifications we’re looking for include:

- At least 3 years of professional sales experience under an outbound capacity. The more experience and examples you have of the type of lead generation you’ve achieved, the better.
- At least 2 years of professional sales experience in a B2B capacity, having interacted with key decision makers and converted them to prospects.
- Advanced English, both written and oral, that will allow you to interact with our North American clients with fluency and ease, in order to better carry out sales-related tasks and to establish rapport.
- You’ve worked in the IT industry before, and are familiar with the vocabulary surrounding software development. Any experience working for companies dedicated to software outsourcing or software development as a service is a huge plus.

This role will report directly to Devlane’s COO, previously Devlane’s sales manager, who will handle onboarding you and training you, and who will give you the necessary knowledge and tools related to the software development outsourcing industry in order for you to be able to conduct your job as autonomously as needed.

The role includes a base salary in USD and a quarterly commission rate paid on a monthly basis. The commission rates are in USD and are based on reaching the quarterly quota.

We are currently open to hiring in the majority of Latin America for this role, and the position is 100% remote work-from-home.
