As a Sales Operations specialist you will work with Nextant’s Business Development Manager across a range broad range of activities that support our ongoing sales operations and business growth. This is a great early career opportunity that will help you learn about the professional services industry and develop baseline skills required in the Business Development discipline.
**Examples of key activities**:
- Support senior staff in the creation and updating of proposals, collateral, and other sales materials.
- Perform high level analysis on Nextant’s sales pipeline and other sales related information.
- Help operate incentive compensation programs and contests.
**Soft Skills**
- Organizational skills: ability to juggle multiple workstreams in parallel and ensure timely completion of all activities.
- Team player: capable of collaborating with multiple individuals and bringing together ideas from multiple stakeholders into a single activity or deliverable.
- Self-starter: manage deadlines and organize activities without requiring close supervision.
- Detail oriented: good at reviewing, comparing, and preparing detailed information required to prepare proposals and Role Based submissions; this includes details around pricing, costs, and similar elements.
- Documentation: good at conceptualizing information in documents, including visually appealing slides.
**Hard Skills**
- Proficient in utilizing online platforms like CRM and other tools.
- Intermediate in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Preferred experience with SharePoint Online.
- Advanced non-native English.
**Experience/Education**
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in working in services, software, consultancy or related business is preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or similar working levels obtained through relevant job experience
**Mandatory Requirements**
- English Level B2 both written and oral
