HR Operations Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The HR Operations Coordinator is an integral member of the Bogota Human Resources team and support all Human Resources Operations activities as necessary for North Latam (Bogota, Lima and Panama City) Offices
HR Administration and compliance (North Latam)
Legal:
- Execute HR administrative process in the objective of minimizing risks
- Maintain staff records in compliance with labor law, ensure internal database is accurate and up to date
- Ensure appropriate risk management, identifying HR risks in local offices and working closely with BCG internal Audit and Legal team and local attorneys
- Accountable for local HR related risk management, like maintaining employment contract templates/ letter, local risk audits, prevention plan, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and other HR related regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with BCG global HR policies
- Understand local employment laws and requirements and ensure compliance across all People Platforms
- Prepare entrance of new hires, liaising with external providers and proceeding the necessary affiliation
Payroll:
- Update internal HR systems (WorkDay)
- Actively participate in payroll preparation, underlining any FTE changes and liaising with Finance and Vendors teams
- Track and monitor holidays, leaves or flexibility options for all staff
- Managing & liasing with EY payroll team
Benefits:
- Serve as point of contact between employees and insurance providers.
- Process all benefits administration and proactively advice on bottlenecks
- Take care of monthly health & life insurance invoices & forward to finance team
- Assist with newhire orientations regarding benefits, payroll, time off & admin topics
Migration:
- Liaise with local external immigration advisors for visa processes, provide necessary documents
General HR:
- Assist the HR Director in planning, managing, and controlling the SSA People Team budget
- Plan & control budget for SSA People Team
- Support HR director with any special (ad hoc) project they need assistance with
- Invest in various HR initiatives as needed (Process documentation, internal communication, etc.)
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices and recommend possible actions to improve existing processes
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
BST L&D Support
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Supporting the HR director with any special (ad hoc) project they need assistance with

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology, HR or other businessrelated field
- 35 years work experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Fluent Spanish and English required
- Excellent communication skills
- Service oriented
