Panagora Group is a U.S.

small business that provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and currently implements the USAID/Colombia Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activity.

The MEL activity provides technical and advisory services to USAID in the following components:
(1) Monitoring; (2) Performance and Impact Assessments; (3) Research, Assessments, and Data Analysis; (4) Geographic Information Services (GIS) and (5) Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation tasks (CLA).

The MEL Activity seeks a quantitative specialist as part of the evaluation's component team. The following are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the design of sampling frames for qualitative and quantitative data collection with the MEL activity team.
  • Support the design of the most efficient and effective methodologies for quantitative data collection. Conduct quality reviews of the data collected with the MEL team.
  • Implement strategies to ensure the protection of the data collected.
  • Make econometric estimations of the data collected by the MEL activity.
  • Support econometric estimations and statistical analysis of impact and performance evaluations.
  • Perform statistical data analysis, analytical reports, and written and oral presentations when requested.
  • Design graphs and tables using relevant statistical software to interpret and analyze quantitative data regarding specific questions for a study or evaluation.
  • Draw preliminary conclusions requested by technical teams from quantitative data that can be used in relevant MEL activity documents.
  • Provide technical support to review and adjust documents when necessary.
  • Provide technical support during the design and analysis phases of quantitative instruments within the framework of the technical team meetings.
  • Support the design of quantitative data collection instruments and support the data collection when required.
  • Support the revision of databases, instruments, and data collection reports in Spanish and English for the USAID Data Development Library (DDL).
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or MEL Activity Director.

Panagora Group proporciona servicios de monitoreo y evaluación en la industria del desarrollo internacional y actualmente implementa la actividad de Monitoreo, Evaluación y Aprendizaje (MEL) de USAID / Colombia.

La actividad MEL brinda servicios técnicos y de asesoría a USAID en los siguientes componentes:
(1) Monitoreo; (2) Evaluaciones de desempeño e impacto; (3) Investigación, evaluaciones y análisis de datos; (4) Servicios de Información Geográfica (GIS) y (5) Tareas de Colaboración, Aprendizaje y Adaptación (CLA).

Como parte del componente de evaluaciones, la Actividad MEL busca un especialista cuantiativo. A continuación, se presentan algunos requerimientos y responsabilidades clave para la posición.

Responsabilidades:

  • Trabajar en el diseño de marcos muestrales para la recolección de datos cualitativos y cuantitativos junto con el equipo de trabajo de la actividad MEL.
  • Apoyar el diseño de las metodologías más eficientes y eficaces para la recolección de información cuantitativa. Hacer revisiones de calidad de los datos recolectados en conjunto con el equipo de trabajo de la actividad MEL.
  • Implementar estrategias de protección de los datos recolectados.
  • Hacer estimaciones econométricas de los datos recolectados por la actividad MEL.
  • Apoyar las estimaciones econométricas y el análisis estadístico de las evaluaciones de impacto y desempeño realizadas por la actividad de MEL.
  • Realizar análisis estadístico de datos con sus respectivos informes analíticos y presentaciones escritas y orales cuando se solicite.
  • Diseñar gráficos y tablas usando el software estadístico pertinente para interpretar y analizar datos cuantitativos con respecto a las preguntas específicas para un estudio o evaluación.
  • Obtener conclusiones preliminares solicitados por los equipos técnicos a partir de datos cuantitativos que puedan ser usadas en los documentos pertinentes de la actividad MEL.
  • Proporcionar soporte técnico para ajustar los documentos cuando sea necesario.
  • Proporcionar apoyo técnico durante las fases de diseño y procesamiento de instrumentos cuantitativos en el marco de las reuniones del equipo técnico.
  • Apoyar el diseño de instrumentos de recolección de información cuantitativas y cuando sea necesario apoyar su recolección.
