AGIAMONDO is the personnel service of German Catholics for development cooperation.
In the Civil Peace Service (ZFD), we offer professionals the opportunity for meaningful service in cooperation with local development actors.
The ZFD is a personnel program for violence prevention and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. It works for a world in which conflicts are settled without violence.Together with church and civil society partner organizations in Bosnia-Herzegovina, AGIAMONDO wants to contribute to the civil conflict resolution there and to the sustainable and just development of the country through peacebuilding measures.
Deputy Coordinator of the ZFD-Program (M/F/x), Bogotá, ColombiaYour new field of activity - responsible and challenging
After the signing of the peace treaty, the ZFD country program enters a new phase. It is a well-balanced program with diverse partners in several regions of the country. Colombia is currently in a politically very interesting situation of upheaval, which promotes the peace process in the country. The country program focuses on dealing with a violent past, resource and environmental conflicts, and political participation.
The position offers the opportunity to work on program design and to come into direct contact with partner organizations and experts through business trips to various parts of the country.
Through program development, you will contribute to the quality assurance and impact orientation of the state program, be the contact person for partner organizations and experts, and represent AGIAMONDO on site.
Your place of residence and work is Bogotá, a location with qualified multilingual educational institutions and good infrastructure, also suitable for families with children.
The coordination includes the following tasks in detail:
- You will support the coordinator in managing the content and finances of the program and take over as a substitute in case of his/her absence.
- You will help to expand the existing partner network, plan new cooperations and generate synergies between professionals and partner organizations.
- You will support the coordination in lobbying and public relations work, among other things, as well as in the implementation of the diversity approach and the security strategy.
- You advise potential partner organizations on the possibilities of personnel cooperation.
- You accompany ZFD specialists in their life and work on site.
- You will coordinate and monitor the correct accounting of material resources, determine training needs and prepare necessary reports (annual reports, utilization reports, TLS monitoring, etc.).
Your profile:
- You have sound administrative and organizational experience and are also strong editorially.
- You have several years of professional experience in international cooperation or peace work, preferably gained in church or civil society organizations.
- You have experience in at least one of the following areas: Communication/Advocacy, Land and Environmental Conflict or Intersectionality.
- You have advisory skills as well as diplomatic skills and sound knowledge of program and project management.
- You have strong skills in intercultural, partnershipbased interaction with stakeholders, identify with AGIAMONDO's church profile and can act appropriately in a church environment.
- You have very good German and Spanish language skills, are an EU or Swiss citizen and belong to a Christian church.
