Amazon Web Services is in search of a dynamic Solutions Architect to support the growth of our Health Care business within the World Wide Public Sector practice.

As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you'll play a vital role in shaping and executing strategies to drive widespread adoption of Amazon's utility computing web services like AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS RDS, and AWS CloudFront among customers, system integrators, and solution providers.

Your key responsibilities will involve:
  • Owning technical engagements for specific implementation projects and ensuring their success
  • Defining implementation architectures and responding to RFPs
  • Developing expertise in AWS technologies and understanding how applications are built on the AWS platform
  • Serving as a security expert for customer applications

As a Solutions Architect, you'll offer top-notch design and leadership to customers while collaborating with a high-performing sales and business development team. You'll also lead efforts to share best practices within the AWS solution architect community.

Key job responsibilities:
  • Assisting customers in designing cloud computing architectures
  • Engaging in technical discussions and staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Delivering technical presentations and possessing experience in web services development and operations
  • Operating with a focus on security and management

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) contributes to revenue growth across various customer segments and emphasizes the importance of top-tier support for customer success.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures
  • 10+ years of experience in IT development or software/Internet industry implementation and consulting
  • Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish
  • Experience in Health Care
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and database architecture and networking
  • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, and industry verticals
  • Experience with end user or developer communities
