Dispatch Coordinator at Superior Contracting & Maintenance
Superior Contracting & Maintenance is a reputable construction company specializing in construction and maintenance services for Property Management firms. We take pride in delivering top-notch service and establishing solid partnerships with our clients.
The Dispatch Coordinator role plays a critical part in overseeing daily scheduling tasks and managing service requests. This position requires direct coordination with field technicians and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams. Strong organizational skills, precise handling of administrative duties, and excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently schedule emergency and non-emergency work orders
- Coordinate and dispatch technicians for maintenance and construction services work orders, optimizing routes for maximum productivity and customer satisfaction
- Manage emergency work orders and reschedule as needed, adjusting schedules and resources accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including contact attempts and issues with tenants or technicians
- Provide timely updates to clients via email and service provider portals
- Liaise with other departments to ensure operational efficiency
- Offer feedback from field technicians to refine processes and enhance service delivery
- Attend regular team and company meetings to stay informed of policies and operational changes
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or a similar role with a focus on communication
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to follow directions and implement solutions effectively
- Problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficient in fast typing and data entry
- Experience in skilled labor trades and dispatching is advantageous
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
