Overview


Mastercard's Cyber & Intelligence Solutions organization develops and delivers world-class identity, fraud and security products and services for partners across the globe.

As part of this organization, the Identity Solutions team leads the development and delivery of innovative authentication and digital identity products that enables simple and secure digital experiences for consumers.


This role will support the continuous development of a digital environment in which merchants and issuers will exchange enhanced data through Mastercard's Identity Check ecosystem and leverage the Mastercard Connected Intelligence to identify the level of risk and ensure the person who is behind the transaction is who they say they are.


Identity Check is Mastercard Authentication program leveraging EMV 3DS protocol, enabling greater security and a consistent user-friendly digital payment experience, reducing fraud, false declines and unnecessary friction—meeting the need for simple and secure payments.

Role


The Director, Product Management, Identity Solutions will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and executing the Identity Check product strategy, ensuring alignment with the strategic global and regional objectives.


The position will be responsible for delivering the product vision and will report to the Vice President, Product Management, Identity Solutions.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Own communications and sales enablement processes, coordinating internal/external messaging of authentication initiatives and/or changes to the Identity Check Program.
  • Develop sales strategies which maximize revenue and profit, covering but not limited to Identity Check, Smart Authentication solution suite, Biometric Authentication Service and others.
  • Represent the LAC region in the weekly calls with the Global Identity Check team and other regions, providing feedback to any proposed new changes, understanding its impacts to LAC.
  • Clearly articulate the Identity Check value proposition for our customers, including banks, merchants and digital partners, so it can be clearly understood and communicated by customer facing teams.
  • Own gating process for the products/solutions introduced in LAC according to Product Management Excellence (PME) process.
  • Lead Identity Check acceleration programs in key markets.
  • Partner with regional product teams, divisional management, and market development teams to execute product management and gotomarket initiatives within supported markets.
Key Qualifications

  • Extensive product management experience is required including experience establishing revenue trajectory for product(s) and track record of success in innovative fastmoving environments
  • Domain experience in authentication in the digital environment, including biometrics, is strongly preferred.
  • Superior communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful track record engaging at senior levels in the organization and with partners.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
  • Open and creative mindset; comfortable with uncertainty, changing and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and aggressive corporate targets.
  • Domestic and International travel up to 25%
  • English and Spanish required, Portuguese is a plus.
