Also, readhttps://platzi.com/cultura as a foundational document for our team.Requirements Summary As a Sales Development Representative, you'llbe responsible for generating new sales opportunities through coldoutreach and social media. You'll refine cold email strategiesusing A/B testing to improve conversion rates and identify andqualify prospects by analyzing potential business needs. Your roleincludes setting up meetings between prospects and SalesExecutives, managing and expanding your database, and collaboratingclosely with the sales team to reach ambitious sales targets.You'll also participate in pitch sessions, product demos, andtraining to strengthen your knowledge base and effectiveness.Success in this role means consistently exceeding quota targets forqualified leads. Description - Actively seek out new salesopportunities through cold calling and social media. - Develop andenhance cold emailing strategies through A/B testing with the goalof increasing the meeting conversion rate. - Identify, qualify, anddevelop prospects based on their potential business needs usingyour own strategic approach. - Set up meetings or calls between(prospective) clients and Sales Executives. - Maintain and expandyour database of prospects within your assigned territory. -Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reachingsales targets. - Attend and participate in sales pitch, productdemonstrations, and training sessions. - Meet and exceed quotatargets related to the number of qualified opportunities generated.- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and newpricing/payment plans. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience as aSales Development Representative or in a similar role. - Practicalexperience with a range of sales techniques, including coldcalling. - Proven track record of achieving sales quotas. -Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or Hubspot). -Familiarity with prospecting tools (e.g., Salesloft, Apollo, orAmplemarket). - Solid understanding of sales performance metrics. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strongproblem-solving abilities and analytical skills. - Englishproficiency at B1 level or higher. - Ability to excel in afast-paced startup environment.
