Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Enterprise Content Solutions globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Develop solutions to resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs, by applying technological knowledge. Participate in the production of implementation strategies through creation of functional specification documents to support users. and presentation of proposed changes to applicable international audiences Provide on-call (after hours) and weekend production support on a rotational basis. Participate in design, development, testing, development of new solutions or enhancements to existing applications. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporate into in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. .Net Microsoft SharePoint (OnPremises / Online) Microsoft Power Platform Bogota / Canada.Education / Experience / Other Information
Bachelor’s degree in computer science Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, testing and support using SharePoint (Online / OnPremises) and related technologies (nice to have) Must be familiar with Net / Rest API / JavaScript and PowerShell scripting Good understanding in design patterns and best practices Experience with build and deployment tools such as Azure Devops / Visual Studio Team System Language fluency in English and Spanish B1 A recognized under-graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related discipline Desirable to have Microsoft Certifications (SharePoint / SPFX / PowerApps / Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).Working Conditions
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.#LI-Hybrid
