Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer Associate to join our team at ScotiaTech. As a key member of our Enterprise Content Solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to support the team's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to ensure the effective operation of our systems and processes.
  • Participate in the production of implementation strategies through creation of functional specification documents.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, testing, and support using SharePoint and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with build and deployment tools such as Azure Devops and Visual Studio Team System.
  • Language fluency in English and Spanish (B1 level).

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
