Job Description

As an Accountant, you will prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, and perform month-end and year-end close processes. You will reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledger entries, conduct internal audits, and assist with external audits. Additionally, you will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and assist in budget preparation and financial planning.

Your Role: The Ultimate Business Fixer

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledger entries.
  • Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Tech Stack:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Time.
  • Knowledge of basic payroll taxes in the United States.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English with a high level of English proficiency.
  • High proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft-based products.
  • Familiarity with Asana, Slack, and Google Drive.
  • Experience in the Construction Industry and AIA Billing is strongly desired.
  • Willingness to assist with Insurance Audits (training will be provided).
