**Financial Accountant - Bogota**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Bogota. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly closings, financial statement preparation, and audit coordination.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in our accounting system.
- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations, and prepare consolidated accounts.
- Prepare tax returns and review local tax submissions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and maintain an accurate asset register.
- Provide financial information to external auditors and assist with the annual audit process.
- Support the opening of new entities and bank accounts, and assist with other administrative functions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Certified public accountant (CPA) or ACCA qualification.
- 3-4 years' post-qualifying experience in a similar role.
