Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY (RESUMEN DE LA POSICIÓN):
Under general direction of the to the Financial Manager - LATAM Shared Services Center based in BOG, Colombia, is responsible for coordinate the cooperation between the works area and all other areas of the company in such a way that the flow of information is always free of friction, without hindrance, and is ensure positive comprehensive coordination. Is responsible for performing accounting tasks and activities in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and for supporting the company's mission and management's objectives and decisions.
Bajo la dirección y supervisión del Gerente Financiero de Servicios Compartidos, es responsable de coordinar la cooperación entre su área de trabajo con todas las demás áreas de la compañía de tal manera que el flujo de información sea siempre libre de fricciones, sin trabas, y se asegure una coordinación integral positiva. Es responsable de realizar las tareas y actividades contables acorde con las políticas y procedimientos de la compañía y de apoyar la misión de la compañía, y los objetivos y decisiones de la administración.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES):
Financial (Financieros)
1. Keep the Activity Calendar / Update the Closing Check List and carry out the pertinent activities for compliance financial issues

2. Answer questions, review accounting operations to locate and resolve differences that may exist.
Responde a preguntas, revisa las operaciones contables para localizar y resolver las diferencias que puedan existir.
3. Verify the updates of the regulations of the regulatory entities
Verificar las actualizaciones de la normatividad de los entes reguladores
4. File of accounting documentation related to your position
Archivo de documentación contable relacionada con su cargo
Closing (Cierre)
5. Entry of local and foreign customer invoices.
Ingreso de facturas clientes locales y del exterior
6. Entry of manual customer invoices, such as expense reimbursements.
Ingreso de facturas clientes manuales, como por ejemplo los reintegros de gastos.
7. Request and review of Operations guides for local reports
Solicitud y revisión de guías de Operaciones para reportes locales
8. Preparation of appropriations in SIIGO and SAP
Elaboración de consignaciones en SIIGO y SAP
9. Verification of BASC certification and subsequent creation / update of new clients according to corporate policies.

10. Make balance reconciliations

11. Generation, monitoring and analysis of customer account statements
Generación, seguimiento y análisis de estados de cuenta de clientes
12. Billing to clients of the assigned countries (Transport and Depot)
Facturación a clientes de los países asignados (Transport y Depot)
13. Make the other necessary records in SAP and additional processes in the assigned countries

14. Correctly make the necessary contact with the assigned countries to deal with various issues.

15. Propose improvements to the processes in favor of the optimization of time and standardization of activities.

What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (EXPERIENCIA Y REQUISITOS ACADÉMICOS):
Required (Necesario):
1. Accounting student with semester higher than sixth or, Technician / Technologist in accounting and finance
(Estudiante de contaduría con semestre superior a sexto o, Técnico / Tecnólogo en contabilidad y finanzas)
2. Mínimum 2 years directly related work experience (mínimo 2 años de experiencia relacionados).
Prefered (Preferible):
1. Bachelors in administration, accountant or similar (Profesional en administración de empresas, Contador, o similares).
2. SAP experience preferred (Preferiblemente experiencia en SAP)

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS (REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS DE HÁBILIDADES, CONOCIMIENTOS Y CAPACIDADES):
Required (Necesario):
· Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints as well as under pressure. Habilidad para trabajar en forma rápida y precisa bajo limitaciones de tiempo y volumen así como también bajo presión.
