Chief AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Chief AI Engineer with a deep understanding of artificial intelligence to join our team and develop groundbreaking product experiences powered by intelligent AI-driven agents.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that use natural language processing to enhance user interactions, streamline workflows, and integrate data across diverse products and partner platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered agents to automate interactions with internal and external data systems
• Design and implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to connect backend systems such as APIs and databases, making their capabilities accessible to AI agents
• Create AI-driven solutions for automating storefront creation by interpreting user inputs and generating layouts, templates, and configurations
• Incorporate AI assistant functionality into control panels and mobile applications to enable natural language queries and actions
• Collaborate with NLP experts and product designers to deliver intuitive and seamless conversational interfaces
• Rapidly prototype and test ideas to validate product features and address user needs
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks for fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and secure action execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in AI engineering
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing development teams
• Participation in at least two full project lifecycles or involvement in multiple projects covering different phases of the development lifecycle
• Practical experience working with large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI or Anthropic, and developing AI-based applications
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and system integration
• Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, as well as containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to tackle complex challenges and adapt to fast-changing environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a B2 level or above

Nice to have

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms or experience developing SaaS products
• Expertise in conversational AI or natural language processing technologies
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and tools such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel
• Experience building mobile solutions for platforms like iOS and Android
• Understanding of rules-based systems, automation tools, or AI copilots
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or similar
