Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Dental Biller (English/Spanish) to support a growing dental practice experiencing billing and accounts receivable backlogs due to recent system transitions and limited in-house staffing.
This role is critical in improving cash flow, ensuring accurate insurance processing, maintaining credentialing compliance, and providing bilingual support for both patients and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate has strong dental billing experience, is comfortable handling claims end-to-end, and can proactively follow up on pending items.
This Role Will Address:

Backlogs in billing and accounts receivable due to system transitions
*
Delays in claims submission and insurance follow-ups
*
Insurance credentialing and provider enrollment compliance
*
Accurate reconciliation and posting of EOBs to ensure correct patient balances
*
Need for bilingual (English/Spanish) communication with patients and insurance providers
*
Timely insurance verification and follow-up on short-term appeals
Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Tasks:
*
Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage
*
Submit dental insurance claims and follow up on pending or denied claims
*
Review, reconcile, and accurately post EOBs, payments, and adjustments
*
Handle short-term appeals, including gathering documentation and coordinating with payers
*
Update and maintain accurate records in the EMR system (TDA)
*
Manage inbound and outbound calls with patients and insurance carriers using Mango Voice
*
Provide bilingual support for insurance and patient communications
*
Prioritize claims submission, EOB review, payment posting, and credentialing support
*
Follow up daily on insurance verification and short-term appeals
*
Submit end-of-day productivity reports if required
*
Ensure accurate documentation in EMR (TDA) and communication logs
Required Skills & Experience
*
Prior experience in dental billing and insurance claims management
*
Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
*
Strong organizational and time-management skills
*
Proven experience with EOB reconciliation and payment posting
*
Knowledge of insurance credentialing and provider enrollment processes
*
Experience handling short-term appeals and working with insurance carriers
*
Comfortable managing phone systems such as Mango Voice
*
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
