Job Summary:
**Duties**:
- Make inbound and outbound calls - answering and contacting patients and providers in a professional and timely manner
- Identify the needs of the patient, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions or alternatives while providing outstanding customer service
- Provide an empathetic experience while building sustainable relationships with patients by “going the extra mile”
- Maintain accurate records of all conversations in our internal database
- Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets
- Adhere to a high level of confidentiality and use medical terminology to assist with inquiries
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist in guiding others as the team grows
- Communicate effectively internally with a range of remote, hybrid, and international teams to ensure seamless operations
**Skills**:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, proficiency in English required
- Customer service experience in a support-based role
- Familiarity with medical terminology, preferred (but not required)
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and provide suitable solutions
- Strong active listening skills
- Track record of over-achieving quotas
- Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices
- Ability to multi-task, manage concurrent activities, and set priorities
- Adaptable to working with different personality types and perspectives
- Effective time management and comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment, bonus if you have experience in a remote setting
- Experience in the medical field, preferred (but not required)
Background & Experience:
- High school diploma with 3+ years of experience or the equivalent in customer service or medical field - Again, healthcare is not a requirement, but it is a bonus
- Remote work experience is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders in the organization
- Track record of performing research to better understand the context of a specific contract and the needs of our patients
