ROLE OVERVIEW
The Community Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and coordination of all social media and community-facing digital activities of Vasquez Law Firm. This role is execution-focused and requires high organization, strict deadline compliance, attention to detail, proactive communication, and autonomy.
The Community Manager directly impacts brand perception, online reputation, content performance, community engagement, and operational efficiency across all platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Planning & Strategy Execution
Develop and submit weekly and monthly content plans for all platforms:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Google My Business (GMB)
- Ensure content plans include:
- Posting dates
- Platform designation
- Copy
- Graphics and/or videos
- Maintain content planning future deadlines established by Marketing).
- Update content plans promptly based on feedback or strategic changes from Marketing leadership.
Ensure content planning is proactive; last-minute or improvised planning is not acceptable.
Social Media Posting & Scheduling
Publish and/or schedule posts according to the approved editorial calendar.
- Meet or exceed required posting volumes (e.g., minimum 4 posts per day when established).
- Schedule content in advance, never day-of.
- Coordinate with internal editors, designers, and video teams to ensure timely execution.
Ensure full adherence to pre-approved calendars.
YouTube Channel Management
Upload all required YouTube content consistently.
- Publish daily episodes derived from TikTok Lives when applicable.
- Complete backlog of missing episodes.
Maintain weekly consistency and communicate proactively if any delay is expected.
Google My Business (GMB) Management
Create and submit a monthly GMB content plan.
- Publish scheduled weekly Thursday posts.
- Ensure GMB content is strategic, planned, and aligned with firm messaging.
Avoid last-minute or unplanned posting.
Community Management & Online Reputation
Monitor and respond to:
- Google Reviews
- Social media comments
- Messages and mentions
- Perform monitoring Monday through Friday without reminders.
- Respond promptly to all applicable interactions.
- Escalate comments or messages requiring legal review to the appropriate team.
Protect and enhance the firm's online reputation through consistent engagement.
Reporting, Metrics & KPIs
Submit accurate, platform-specific post reports as requested.
- Follow reporting instructions precisely; substitute or generic reports are not acceptable.
- Update all KPI tracking documents (e.g., TikTok Leads Excel) weekly.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery without supervision.
External Agency Coordination
Coordinate weekly with external agencies.
- Deliver required materials (topics, videos, approvals) on time.
- Track usage of paid content packages to avoid content loss.
- Report any production or delivery risks proactively.
Maintain ownership and accountability over agency workflows.
TikTok Live Sessions
Attend and actively participate in all scheduled TikTok Live sessions during the week, including evening lives when assigned.
- Be fully available and responsive throughout the entire duration of each live.
- Monitor and manage real-time comments and interactions.
- Provide immediate support to the host and internal team during live broadcasts.
- Communicate proactively if any technical or scheduling issue arises prior to a live.
Presence during assigned live sessions is a required part of working hours.
Internal Communication & Team Culture
Send internal birthday and anniversary messages as scheduled.
- Follow internal calendars and reminders.
Support team culture through reliable execution of recurring internal tasks.
Professional Organization & Accountability
Take detailed notes during all meetings.
- Use calendars, task managers, and reminders consistently.
- Communicate proactively if deadlines are at risk.
- Avoid missed deadlines; prior communication is mandatory if delays occur.
- Demonstrate autonomy and reliability without micromanagement.
- Maintain responsiveness during assigned working hours.
