A great candidate:Build and maintain scalable data models and transformations using dbt. Leverage Databricks for data exploration, cleaning, and advanced analysis.Design and deliver clear, actionable dashboards in QuickSight.Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and business drivers using SQL and Python.Drive insights to ad-hoc questions and assist senior stakeholders in answering questions about our business.Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, answer critical questions, and enable self-service analytics.Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation across datasets.Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics solutions with business goals.
What You'll Do: Work with modern tools (Databricks, dbt, QuickSight) to solve impactful problems.Act as technical mentor and leader for the Business Insights team. What you bring: Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.Proven track record of delivering impact through analytics, research, and data. Hands-on experience with Databricks and dbt for analytics engineering.Proficiency in building dashboards with BI tools.Experience using Python for exploratory analysis, transformation, and ETL.Ability to translate business questions into actionable insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Mentor or lead experience in data analytics roles. 7+ years in a data analyst, data engineer or analytics engineering role.
Important Note: This opportunity is based in Bogotá, Colombia and offers the chance to partner with Veho as we expand globally. This engagement will begin under a contractor arrangement.
