About the Project:

Our client is an AI-powered texting platform that helps older adults access transportation, social services, and local programs. They're expanding their capabilities to ensure accurate referrals, validate information at scale, and improve workflows for social workers. You´ll play a key role in shaping the tools that support both their users and the organizations that serve them.


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours/week). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, the ability to independently manage the full development across the stack, from AI integrations to frontend design, and help improve how seniors and social workers interact with critical services. This role requires someone who can take ownership of complex systems and build with empathy, performance, and clarity in mind.


Must-have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer.
  • Expertise in ExpressJS, React, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
  • Strong frontend development skills with a focus on design and usability.
  • Ability to independently manage the full development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Expertise in backend monitoring tools is a plus; eg: Sentry

Nice to have:

  • Expertise in Twilio
  • Experience with AI agent systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with aging services, social impact tools, or govtech is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: 60/40 backend/frontend split

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain both frontend and backend systems.
  • Work with ExpressJS (backend) and React (frontend) to build scalable solutions.
  • Integrate and utilize OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and Twilio.
  • Ensure adherence to deploy protocols and maintain production/staging environment integrity.
  • Design and deliver user-friendly interfaces with a strong design sensibility.
  • Contribute to AI agent development and implementation.
