We are currently looking for a Specialist Latam MSI&S - Solutions Designer UCR B&I to join us. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

MAIN PURPOSE:

The solutions designer will provide support to both the UCR senior advisors and the upstream team in the BUs with the aim of adding value to UCR projects. The task will be to deliver both hydraulically and technically founded designs with UCR systems. The solution designer also plays an important role in creating reports that support these designs and translate them to the customers.  The solution designer plays a role in the introduction of new solutions via standard drawings and the development of first projects designs, ensuring that technical knowledge can be brought to the customer faster. This role is crucial in ensuring that UCR projects are both innovative and technically robust, facilitating faster delivery of technical solutions to our customers. 

COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB:

The      combination of  deep and broad technical-hydraulic knowledge of a wide range of products combined with creative design makes this position grow in time through basic knowledge, experience & training.

Key Areas of Responsibilities (KARs)

Design support for Global UCR technical advisors (senior & upstream).

Project Support:

• Integrate various UCR systems to create cohesive project designs.
• Identify project opportunities and challenge UCR consultants to address them.
• Utilize hydraulic notes to demonstrate and quantify the positive impact of designs on projects.

Introducing New Systems:

• Guide OCs in integrating new systems into pilot projects within their focus country.
• Prepare standard drawings to facilitate the seamless integration of new developments into projects.
• Share insights with global product managers on product adaptations to simplify usage.

Cost Management:

• Monitor service costs to ensure they are proportional to the value of the project.

Service Process Development:

• Develop and oversee processes for efficiently handling service inquiries and managing applicant expectations

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or master's degree in hydraulics or equal through experience
• Deep and broad product knowledge
• Knowledge of hydraulic design, project process and creative design
• Preferably experience in a commercial organisation and knowledge of technical solutions for construction projects
• Language:   
• English  (advanced) is a MUST
• Spanish (very good)
• Portuguese (good)
