We are seeking a
Account Executive – Public Sector
, who will lead consultative sales processes, develop strategic commercial relationships, and drive business growth by engaging public sector clients through value-based conversations and high-impact solution positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial, technical, and leadership teams to deeply understand client needs and translate them into strategic opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle in the public sector, navigating long procurement processes and complex institutional environments.
- Diagnose client challenges, ask high-impact questions, structure problems, and guide stakeholders toward the most suitable cloud, data, and analytics solutions.
- Define strategic growth plans, prioritize business opportunities, and execute effective account plans.
- Maintain strong technical-commercial credibility to participate in both business and technical discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Present solutions using executive-level storytelling, clearly outlining impact, risks, benefits, and key use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in consultative B2B sales or business development in technology companies (software, cloud, data/analytics, IT consulting, or enterprise solutions).
- Demonstrated experience managing public sector accounts in Colombia.
- Availability to travel.
- Second language proficiency: B1+ to B2 (conversational level).
Nice-to-Have Technical Knowledge
- Experience with AWS or cloud-based service solution sales.
