JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The
Audit Specialist
will will support our Internal Audit Manager in ensuring compliance with regional and global processes. As an Audit Staff, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit activities for our company in alignment with the approved internal audit plan.

  1. Conduct thorough audit engagements in accordance with the approved internal audit guidelines.
  2. Collaborate in the development of the internal audit plan based on risk assessments and existing controls.
  3. Coordinate internal audit engagements across our project companies and act as a liaison between these companies and the internal audit function.
  4. Provide necessary support to external auditors, if required, regarding specific matters.
  5. Foster effective collaboration and teamwork within the different departments, including any third-party service providers.
  6. Evaluate supporting documentation, key records, policies, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and add value to our processes.
  7. Perform audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls during the audit period, identifying any control gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
  8. Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to the Audit Manager, Director of the Audit Office, Board Audit Committee, and the Board.
  9. Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's actions in response to previous audit findings, ensuring cooperation with shareholder audit work.
  10. Provide necessary reports requested by Headquarters/Board Office.

Requirements:

  • 100% On Site job ( Bogota, Chapinero)
  • Bachelor degree in Public Accounting, Finances, Economics or Administration
  • Up to 2-5 years of professional experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in internal auditing process
  • +B2/C1 English Level
    (Must)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
