Role OverviewThe Bilingual Sales Associate (Spanish/English) serves as the bridge between customer satisfaction and sales expansion, combining inside sales, customer service, and proactive outreach to drive revenue growth in English and Spanish-speaking markets. This role supports sales representatives while managing customer relationships, conducting high-volume outbound calling, and identifying growth opportunities across North and South America. You'll lead market development in LATAM and US Hispanic markets, helping expand footprint through relationship building, product demonstrations, and strategic territory planning. This position blends sales execution with customer support—perfect for someone energetic, disciplined, and skilled at building rapport over the phone while navigating bilingual business environments with cultural fluency.
Your ImpactYour bilingual capabilities will directly contribute to achieving sales goals and expanding market reach in Spanish-speaking territories that competitors often underserve. By conducting outbound calls daily in English and Spanish, you'll generate new business, reactivate dormant accounts, and build strong pipelines of recurring customers. Your efforts will increase awareness of products and services in LATAM markets while establishing strong relationships with healthcare providers, distributors, and B2B clients. Through strategic account management and upselling, you'll grow average order values and customer lifetime value. Your cultural fluency will enable authentic connections with Spanish-speaking decision-makers, reducing language barriers that often hinder sales success. By maintaining accurate CRM data and providing market insights, you'll inform territory strategies and product positioning for bilingual markets.
Core ResponsibilitiesSales Outreach & Lead Generation (35%)
- Conduct outbound calls per day to generate new business in English and Spanish-speaking markets
- Identify and qualify sales leads in North and South American territories
- Build and maintain strong pipeline of prospects and recurring customers across bilingual markets
- Reactivate dormant accounts through strategic outreach and relationship rebuilding
- Execute cold calling, telemarketing, and B2B lead generation campaigns
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase average order value
- Track daily activity, conversion rates, and account engagement metrics
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals consistently
Customer & Sales Support (25%)
- Provide daily administrative and sales support to outside sales representatives
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer phone and email inquiries in English or Spanish
- Maintain ongoing relationships with customers and vendors ensuring satisfaction
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients in both languages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Collaborate with distributors to maximize market reach in Spanish-speaking territories
- Represent company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events when needed
- Provide exceptional bilingual customer service that drives retention and referrals
Market Development & Territory Strategy (20%)
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies for LATAM and US Hispanic markets
- Conduct market research identifying trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Articulate product benefits and competitive advantages to Spanish-speaking audiences
- Navigate cultural nuances in business communication across different LATAM countries
- Identify market-specific needs and adapt sales approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop region-specific materials in Spanish
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on Spanish-speaking customer preferences
- Support localization efforts for product positioning in LATAM markets
Account & Order Administration (15%)
- Accurately process orders including pricing, billing, and record updates
- Maintain and track customer account details and purchase history in CRM
- Prepare and manage quotes and bids in coordination with sales team
- Ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment for English and Spanish-speaking clients
- Handle contract negotiations and close deals with healthcare providers or B2B clients
- Manage documentation in both English and Spanish as required
- Track payment status and follow up on outstanding invoices professionally
Reporting, Analysis & Continuous Improvement (5%)
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect data in CRM systems
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and market analyses
- Monitor performance against KPIs and activity-driven targets
- Analyze conversion rates and optimize outreach strategies based on data
- Provide feedback on sales processes and suggest improvements
- Document best practices for bilingual sales engagement
- Stay current on product knowledge and competitive positioning
Must-Haves (Required)
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) with professional business communication skills in both languages
- Sales Experience: 1-3+ years in cold calling, telemarketing, inside sales, B2B lead generation, or sales support roles
- High-Volume Calling: Comfort with conducting outbound calls per day consistently
- Phone Skills: Strong communication skills with confident phone presence and ability to build rapport
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho)
- Cultural Fluency: Understanding of cultural nuances in business communication across Spanish-speaking markets
- Sales Drive: Proven ability to meet activity-driven KPIs and sales targets
- Reliability: High reliability with consistent daily sales activity and professional work ethic
- Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation balancing sales and support
- Coachability: Openness to feedback and ability to implement coaching for improvement
- Remote Work: Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently in remote setup
- B2B Sales Success: 3-5 years of B2B sales experience with proven track record achieving sales targets
- Healthcare/MedTech: Experience in healthcare technology, medical devices, or prenatal/maternal health sector
- LATAM Market Knowledge: Familiarity with North and South American markets and business practices
- Portuguese: Fluency in Portuguese (trilingual Spanish/English/Portuguese)
- Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing, distribution, supply industries, or physical/industrial products
- Territory Sales: Experience with territory management and market development
- Inside Sales: Background in inside sales or account management environments
- Product Demonstrations: Experience conducting product demos and technical presentations
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel 50-60% within North and South America when needed
- Advanced Education: MBA or related advanced degree
- Obstetrics/Gynecology: Familiarity with OB/GYN healthcare sector or maternal-fetal medicine
- Commission Experience: Understanding of commission structures and incentive-based compensation
