Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-centric
Customer Service Representative & Logistics Coordinator
to join our Colombia-based operations team. Although this position is located in Colombia, it is dedicated to supporting our
U.S. operations
, including customers, sales teams, warehouses, and freight providers. This is a
hybrid role
, requiring
one day per week in our Bogotá office
, with the remaining days
working remotely
. The role acts as a key bridge between the sales team, customers, freight providers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and takes initiative to drive results. Your main objective will be to ensure seamless order fulfillment and efficient coordination of logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our Operations Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination of logistics for our U.S. customers:
- Manage order entry, preparation of order for invoicing, and schedule deliveries to customers and/or warehouses.
- Coordinate daily with U.S. based sales teams, and negotiate with freight carriers, forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Follow up with carriers and warehouses to ensure timely deliveries.
- Serve as a liaison between sales, purchasing, planning, inventory, and credit teams to guarantee efficient order fulfillment.
- Prioritize and organize daily workflows to meet tight deadlines and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum
2 years of logistics experience
—ideally with exposure to
U.S. import/export processes and trucking within U.S. and Canada. - Industry experience in
plastics
or
manufacturing/distribution
is a strong plus. - Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced, transactional environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), knowledge of the Sage system is a plus.
- Ability to stay focused, proactive, and professional—whether in-office or working remotely.
