We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman (Maintenance Specialist) to join our facilities team in Bogotá. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day maintenance operations, ensure the upkeep of the premises, and assist with minor technical repairs to support smooth facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance work, including painting, patching, cleaning, and basic facility repairs.
Conduct minor repairs on company machinery, equipment, and appliances as required.
Inspect facilities regularly to identify mechanical issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness concerns.
Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.
Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair tasks in compliance with safety standards.
Report major maintenance issues requiring specialized attention.
Support facility improvement initiatives and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
Requirements
Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or technical support roles.
Valid drivers license.
Proven knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work rotational 12-hour day and night shifts.
Knowledge of HVAC/Air Conditioning systems is an advantage.
Height work certification is a plus.
