Job Summary

All Service Moving is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Move Management to lead and oversee end-to-end domestic and international household goods relocations. This role manages a team of Project Managers responsible for selling, booking, and executing moves from initial lead through final delivery.

This is a remote leadership position requiring strong international moving knowledge, vendor coordination expertise, and accountability for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of Project Managers handling full "cradle-to-grave" household goods moves
  • Oversee the full move lifecycle:
  • Lead intake and review
  • Estimating and pricing support
  • Booking, deposit collection, and scheduling
  • Execution through final delivery
  • Coordinate and oversee:
  • Crating vendors
  • Origin services (packing/loading)
  • Trucking providers (LTL / FTL)
  • Containers and ocean freight (LCL / FCL)
  • Customs brokers
  • Destination agents and unloading services
  • Ensure exceptional customer communication throughout the move
  • Monitor timelines, costs, documentation, duties, and compliance
  • Hold team members accountable for quality, follow-ups, and results
  • Step in directly to manage moves when needed
  • Resolve escalations and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience managing household goods moves
  • Proven experience with international HHG relocations
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Duties, taxes, customs clearance
  • Vendor coordination and pricing
  • International documentation
  • Experience managing or leading teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) – required
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year) or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with U.S.-based moving companies
  • Familiarity with US interstate moves
  • Experience managing multiple moves simultaneously
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
