Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Modeler / Data Architect to design, develop, and govern enterprise-scale data models that support analytical, operational, and business intelligence use cases. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in data modeling methodologies, hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt, solid cloud exposure, and the ability to work directly with clients in a consultative environment. This role requires advanced English proficiency and more than 10 years of experience in data-related roles.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead and execute the end-to-end data modeling process, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.


• Design scalable and performant data models optimized for Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.


• Implement and maintain analytical data models using dbt, following best practices for transformations, testing, and documentation.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and translate them into robust data models.


• Ensure data models support analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption while maintaining data quality and consistency.


• Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices.


• Work closely with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and BI teams to ensure proper model implementation.


• Participate in architectural discussions related to cloud-based data platforms (AWS or Azure).


• Support data governance, lineage, and documentation initiatives.


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members when required (leadership is a plus, not mandatory).

Required Qualifications


• 10+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related data roles.


• Strong expertise in data modeling concepts and methodologies (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, normalized models).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.


• Strong practical experience using dbt for data transformations and analytical modeling.


• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).


• Proven experience interacting directly with clients and business stakeholders.


• Advanced English level (B2+ or higher) with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have


• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery models.


• Leadership or technical lead experience.


• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or metadata management frameworks.


• Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics platforms.
