Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle both inbound and outbound calls, upsell products and services, and reroute calls to the appropriate departments. This role requires a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to handle rejection.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound and Outbound Call Management: - Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide appropriate responses. - Make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to discuss products and services. - Call outbound to clients seeking more information on their home loans, such as cash-out, debt consolidation, etc. - Expected call volume is 400 to 500 calls per day, with an 8-hour shift.
2. Upselling: - Identify opportunities to upsell additional products or services to clients during interactions. - Clearly communicate the benefits of additional services and products to customers.
3. Rerouting Calls: - Efficiently reroute calls to the correct departments based on customer needs. - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of department functions to ensure accurate call redirection.
4. Call Types Breakdown: - Customer Service: Handling general inquiries and support. - Escalation: Addressing complex issues that require higher-level intervention. - Sales: Discussing and selling products and services. - In the beginning, most calls will be focused on sales and customer service.
5. Performance Metrics: - Expected conversion rate for the Mutual of Omaha campaign is a 10-15% transfer rate. - For the VA campaign, the average is 3 to 4 transfers a day, with bonuses starting on the 4th transfer. - Monitoring daily activity metrics such as time off phones, dead time, lunch times, and talk times.
