Growth-oriented Account Manager
who thrives on expanding relationships, driving revenue, and becoming a
trusted strategic partner
to our clients.
Role Overview
This is a
client-facing growth role
managing a portfolio of approximately
15 existing client accounts
. Your mission is to
expand headcount, cross-sell services, generate referrals
, and ensure clients see The Functionary as a long-term partner.
Key Responsibilities
Client Growth & Expansion
Own and manage ~15 existing client accounts
Drive growth through
upsells, cross-sells & referrals
Identify new roles, services, and expansion opportunities
Meet or exceed
quarterly growth quotas
Client Relationship Management
Build trusted relationships with executives, hiring managers & technical leads
Lead NPS initiatives, satisfaction check-ins & feedback loops
Support
Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Account Operations
Manage SOWs, renewals & new role kickoffs (with Delivery Team)
Track account health and performance
Maintain accurate CRM documentation (
HubSpot experience is a plus
)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Delivery & Talent teams
Ensure fast issue resolution and exceptional client satisfaction
Key Skills & Competencies
Strategic account planning & growth execution
Executive-level communication & relationship building
Upselling, cross-selling & negotiation expertise
Objection handling & complex conversation management
Strong ownership, accountability & organization
Data-driven mindset with risk & growth analysis
Team player who thrives in a collaborative culture
Experience Required
4+ years in
Sales or Account Management
Experience in
software staffing, nearshore staffing, tech outsourcing, BPO, or contact centers
(strongly preferred)
Proven track record hitting
revenue or growth targets
Strong client-facing communication skills
HubSpot CRM experience (nice to have)
