Job Title: Head of Product – Clinical

Location: Remote / Flexible

Salary range: $6000- $ depending on experience) 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Product to lead our Clinical solutions portfolio. This role will define the product vision, drive roadmap execution, and ensure market success across data, clinical trial, and patient engagement products. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry knowledge in life sciences and clinical research with proven experience in enterprise SaaS platforms serving highly regulated markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define a 3-year holistic product strategy and roadmap that aligns business goals, scientific needs, and regulatory requirements.

• Own the P&L and market success of the product suite, driving metrics such as user adoption, customer retention, and platform value.

• Lead market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and voice-of-customer initiatives to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

Product Pillar Leadership 

1. Data & Insights Products

   • Set the strategy for data foundation, warehousing, and analytics capabilities, ensuring data quality, integrity, and interoperability.

   • Drive the development and production of AI/ML models and advanced analytics features to generate clinical insights and accelerate scientific discovery.

   • Ensure all data products comply with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).

2. Study & Clinical Trial Products

   • Oversee product lines supporting clinical trial management (e.g., EDC, eTMF, CTMS functionality).

   • Optimize workflows for clinical operations teams, site staff, and monitors, aiming to reduce study cycle times.

   • Ensure compliance by design, supporting GCP and validation requirements.

3. Patient & Engagement Products

   • Define strategy for patient-facing solutions (e.g., eConsent, ePRO/eCOA, decentralized trial components).

   • Prioritize user experience to enhance patient engagement and retention while maintaining privacy compliance (HIPAA/GDPR).

   • Develop features that improve data collection quality and accessibility across diverse settings.

Cross-Functional Management

• Partner with Engineering leadership to prioritize, scope, and deliver the roadmap using agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with peers across experiences to ensure seamless product integration and synergy.

• Define and manage product management processes to promote consistency and high-quality output.

• Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop go-to-market strategies, enablement materials, and clear product positioning.

• Act as an executive product evangelist, presenting the platform vision to key customers, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product management or senior leadership roles (VP/Head of Product).

• Direct experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Clinical Research industries is required.

• Proven success in building, launching, and scaling enterprise SaaS/PaaS platforms for regulated markets.

• Deep understanding of clinical trial workflows and core industry technologies (e.g., EDC systems, CTMS).

• Expert knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards, including GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience mentoring product managers, owners, and designers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in a scientific, medical, or technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Biology, Public Health).

• Experience in Data Governance and applying AI/ML to clinical data analysis.

• Proven ability to manage products serving multiple personas, including researchers, clinicians, and patients.
