For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an Operations Director who will be responsible for understanding the local business and its needs, leading end-to-end Supply Chain operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with corporate strategy and standards.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the local business environment and operational needs.
  • Develop and lead Supply Chain operations, including
    demand planning, supply planning, logistics (import, warehousing and distribution), customer service, and regulatory affairs
    , aligned with local market requirements.
  • Work closely with
    Headquarters Operations teams
    to ensure proper execution of processes and full compliance with corporate standards and procedures.
  • Partner with Headquarters IT teams to design systems and workflows that maximize productivity and reduce waste.
  • Implement required corporate tools to support Supply Chain processes execution.
  • Drive key initiatives to enhance the demand planning process, aiming to maximize sales performance in the local market.
  • Manage inventory levels to maximize product availability and on-time fill rates at the lowest possible cost.
  • Source and manage local vendors and 3PL partners, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Define productivity and efficiency targets for 3PL operations and monitor performance through relevant KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships with key customer counterparts to maximize customer satisfaction and improve collection effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with local Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, and Retail teams to maximize overall business results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum
    10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Operations
    , within
    manufacturing or production-driven companies
    .
  • Experience in the
    pharmaceutical or beauty industry
    is considered a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related disciplines - MBA preferred
    .
  • Advanced English
    Level
  • Proven and strong leadership, with solid influencing and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.

Salary:
COP20–25 million
