Job Summary

We are seeking two experienced Senior Cloud Engineers to join a major cloud transformation initiative. These roles will focus on architecting and managing a new policy administration platform within a highly regulated insurance environment. The ideal candidates will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and cloud security best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic design and infrastructure planning in a mature, stable, and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Architect and manage scalable and secure Azure cloud solutions.
  • Define and implement standard patterns for PaaS and IaaS deployments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud costs.
  • Implement and enforce security policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Configure virtual networks, firewalls, and access controls.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced/Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Experience working in Windows-based environments.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.

Nice To Have:

  • AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions certification.
  • Background in financial services, FinTech, or other regulated industries.
  • Awareness of emerging cloud technologies and trends.
  • Experience with Jenkins (preferred but not mandatory).
