Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Engineer for employment in Bogota, Colombia.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Environmental Project Engineer for the execution of field and office activities related to Environmental Site Assessments Phase I (Based on ASTM & Phase II (Based on ASTM , Contaminated Site Remediation Monitoring, Environmental Due Diligence, Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Audits, and Assessment of Environment and Health and Safety IFC Performance Standards.
In addition, the professional will be responsible for:
- Planning, coordination, and execution of field works
- Execution of field and office activities
- Preparation of technical reports
- Preparation of technical and health and safety documents
- Technical support in proposals preparation
- All Administrative, Health and Safety responsibilities arising from field and office work
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental and Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering careers.
- 2+ years of specific experience in Environmental Site Assessments Phase I and Phase II, Environmental Due Diligence, Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Audits
- High level of oral and written proficiency in English is a must
- Availability to travel.
Preferred Experience:
- 7+ years of general experience including specific experience equal or greater than five (5) years in Environmental Site Assessments Phase I and Phase II, Environmental Due Diligence, Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Audits.
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Problem solving, proactive and assertive behavior
- Working with multidisciplinary teams
