About the Role

Reclatam is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Legal Assistant to support a U.S.-based law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-suit personal injury cases, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-suit personal injury cases from start to finish, including client intake, claims management, medical record requests, and settlement negotiations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish, ensuring clarity and comfort for Spanish-speaking clients.
  • Screen incoming calls and provide accurate, professional information to clients.
  • Utilize Case Peer software (and integration with Case Status) along with the Microsoft Office Suite to manage case files and documentation.
  • Adapt to firm workflows and processes, including flexible working hours if required.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

  • 2 years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury cases.

  • Strong understanding of Virginia, Maryland, or D.C. laws preferred but not mandatory. 
  • Proficiency in Case Peer, Case Status, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
