Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of personal injury law. This role will support our attorneys in managing cases from inception to resolution, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Manage case files, ensuring that all documents are organized and up-to-date.
Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to gather information and provide updates.
Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of case summaries.
Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions.
Maintain a calendar of deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents.
Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders.
Perform administrative duties as needed to support the legal team.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role.
2+ years of experience in a personal injury law firm preferred.
Proficient in legal research and writing.
Familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
