**Job Summary**: Global Business Services (GBS) drives alignment among business units to integrate governance, locations, and business practices across the enterprise to achieve transformative performance improvements. GBS drives collaboration and sharing to improve delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and business outcomes. The GBS Data & Analytics Sr. Business Analyst will work with the Finance and IT organization globally to ensure the accuracy of key financial data in a timely and reliable manner. This position will work with local Finance/IT Teams, Intercompany Center of Expertise (CoE), and Corporate Data and Analytics (DNA) Stakeholders to ensure changes made to the local ERP’s are captured and addressed through harmonization or design/development updates.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**: - Manage governance related to PIE/Standard Margin Business processes by maintaining data mapping files, and proactively identifying upcoming process changes that could impact the viability of the reporting solutions.
- Utilize Business Data Verification (BDV) templates to analyze financial data from Hyperion in order to identify variances exceeding pre-established thresholds - Perform root cause analysis of variances between DNA warehouse and Hyperion or local ERP. Develop, recommend and implement solutions to reduce variance to within the pre-established materiality threshold.
- Foster and maintain relationships with Finance and IT team members to ensure proper points of contact are identified and accessible to troubleshoot and identify root causes
- Coordinate with the Finance/IT Organizations to understand business requirements, functional requirements and conversion of business rules into technical specifications.
- Execute process improvements, technology implementations, and automations to streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of the GBI Governance Process. - Complete ad-hoc projects and reports.
- Research management questions and resolve issues.

- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and analytical problem solving skills.
- General understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to think critically to perform other duties and ad-hoc requests, as assigned.
- Computer Skills (required): MS Excel and MS Access. Computer Skills (preferred): Informatica Data Quality, SAP, JDEdwards, Hyperion, SQL, MySQL and Oracle Database Languages.

**Education/Experience Requirements**: - Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting or Information & Data Systems
- Must have a working knowledge of US GAAP and other regional and global accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, IASB).

**Travel Requirements**: 5%
