**Job Description**:
This Senior Manager will support the Andean Subregional Risk Lead, as well as the LAC Regulatory and Risk Governance -RRG- Senior Director, on corporate risk management matters within the Andean Sub-Region as part of the Latin America and the Caribbean Region (LAC) region.
This Senior Manager position helps create a strong risk management culture and capability by driving risk management awareness, accountability, and maturity within our Business Units in alignment with Visa’s Risk appetite. The objective of the role is to manage corporate risk matters for the Sub-Andean Region, and serve as Risk Officer for Visa Colombia Support Services S.A., Visa´s subsidiary authorized as Low Value Payment System in Colombia.
As such, the Sr. Manager will evolve, optimize, and expand Corporate Risks Programs (e.g. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk, client regulatory support, among others), managing consistently regulatory obligations, and expectations, as well as mature risk governance practices to ensure an effective business response that best serves the interest of Visa and our clients across the Sub-Andean Region.
As Risk Officer for Visa Colombia Support Services S.A., the Sr. Manager will coordinate, and execute the framework to ensure full compliance with local regulation on Risk Management matters for the Colombian Local Processing Entity, including the implementation of the Integrated Risk Management System. This also include identifying, monitoring, and managing supervisory requirements, obligations and engagements, coordinate responses for regulatory reporting obligations and inquiries from regulators.
The Sr. Manager will assist the Andean Subregional Risk Lead, as well as the LAC RRG Senior Director with key department initiatives and ongoing efforts such as tracking, metrics, presentations, and reporting to senior management.
This position will report to the Andean Subregional Risk Lead, with a dotted line to the LAC RRG Senior Director, and will be based in Colombia.
**Description and primary responsibilities**
The Sr. Manager will assist in producing holistic support to enhance and optimize of the Corporate Risks Programs within the Andean Region, and serve as Risk Officer for Visa Colombia Support Services S.A. (VCSS), as follows,
- Coordinate the implementation, and execution of the Integrated Risk Management System (_Sistema de Administración de Riesgo de las Entidades Exceptuadas del SIAR- SARE_) for VCSS.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulation on Risk Management matters.
- Ensure that regulatory requests are addressed in a timely and consistent manner.
- Work with internal risk stakeholders, leverage and adapt Visa´s Enterprise Risk Management policies, guidelines, and procedures to optimize integrated risk management for VCSS.
- Lead the enhancement and oversight of the key elements of the operational risk management, encompassing related risk limits and appetite, key controls indicators, risk and control self-assessments, controls testing framework and issues and events management.
- Create and execute governance model for the Integrated Risk Management System.
- Keep procedures and manuals for operational risk management updated and in alignment with Visa's corporate policies.
- Design internal and external reports to comply with local regulation requirements regarding risk management.
- Lead the execution of the Operational Risk Management program for VCSS, according to local regulation, including but not limited to,
- Monitor entity's risk profile and effectiveness of controls.
- Develop methodologies for reporting operational risk events.
- Monitor the procedures and action plans related to operational risk management and propose their corresponding updates and modifications.
- Collaborate with other functions across the region to ensure appropriate stakeholders are engaged and aware of program oversight.
- Lead the delivery of training and tools to the business to promote/enable self-assessment, measurement, reporting and management of operational risks, issues, and events.
